Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring a Software Engineer – Mainframe on a long-term contract basis.

Summary:
We are looking to hire a talented software engineer who has 7-15+ years of experience to join the Advisory team. The Advisory team is responsible for maintaining and building systems for Advisory business. We are working on a Portfolio Management System to build the next generation of systems using latest technologies and techniques and hence are looking for a software engineer to help drive the development.
Required Skills:

  • Should have some experience in financial domain. Understanding of portfolio management functions is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • At least 5 years of hand-on DB2/SQL, Stored Procedures , COBOL,CICS and JCL.
  • Experience on trading or financial services platform
  • Working in Agile model (15 members team) and supports batch (rotational) along with DEV work.
  • Good with technical knowledge (basics) – SQL Queries, Stored Procedure (native/external), error handling – Abends / SQLCODE , GTTs , DB2 and SQL Server, COBOL / CICS and JCL.
  • Experience with MQ and XML Parsing.
  • Good knowledge of Concurrency and high volume server side development
  • Involvement in full Software Developm
