Our client, a leading financial company, is hiring an IT Systems Engineer on a contract basis

Summary:

Experience Level:
 

  • Level 2: 3-5 years relevant experience; intermediate skills and ability to apply fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in related skill sets

Skills and Key Requirements of Role:
 

    • Ability to understand of IT Architecture and in-depth knowledge application integration and dependencies.
    • Familiarity with the specific software and applications currently in use
    • Ability to systematically analyze data related to app usage, performance, and cost
    • Ability to collect, manage, and interpret data from various sources
    • Ability to analyze the costs versus benefits and other data to determine the impact of retaining, consolidating, or retiring apps.
    • Ability to identify inefficiencies and redundancies in the application portfolio and propose practical solutions.
    • Effective communication and documentation skills
    • Identify potential risks of rationalization (such as data loss, business disruption, or user resistance) and planning mitigation strategies.
    • Ability to prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize the rationalization process, findings, and recommendations
    • Ability to perform disposition analysis and future state architecture based on the disposition analysis
    • Travel Requirements: 1 to 2 times travel to client location

Pay Range:  $50-62
