Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is hiring a Bioanalytical Scientist, on a contract basis.

New Brunswick, NJ – 100% on site

Education/Experience:

  • Required bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other related Science major.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • 2 years of Demonstrated experience with ELISA, qPCR, ddPCR techniques, preferably performing Host Cell Protein, Residual Protein A and rDNA using qPCR and ELISA techniques or viral vector related techniques
  • 2 years of Large molecule experience
  • 2 years of Experience transferring and executing analytical assays in a biologics industry laboratory

Responsibilities:

  • Experience transferring and executing analytical assays in a biologics industry laboratory
  • Proficiency in diverse analytical techniques is required along with basic biochemistry laboratory techniques
  • Demonstrated experience with ELISA, qPCR, ddPCR techniques, preferably performing Host Cell Protein, Residual Protein A and rDNA using qPCR and ELISA techniques or viral vector related techniques
  • Computer competency is essential with emphasis on spreadsheet-based software
  • The ability to adhere to strict guidelines when applicable is required.
  • Ability to document and review data as per established company guidelines and SOPs and maintain laboratory notebook and record keeping under GxP compliance and guidelines
