Summary:

CYBERSECURITY CONSULTANT

Responsibilities:

Must have 3-7 years of experience building cyber metrics, familiar with technology controls, NIST CSF (cyber security framework) and general cyber concepts.

Cybersecurity metrics focused on developing, tracking, and reporting on metrics that measure an organization’s security posture, risk exposure, and the effectiveness of its security controls.

Requires strong analytical skills to translate complex security data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Metrics: Design and implement metrics to track security program performance, risk posture, and the effectiveness of security initiatives.

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather data from various security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners) and analyze it to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Create clear reports and dashboards that communicate risk, audit results, and compliance status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Risk Communication: Translate complex security data into actionable insights to help leadership understand risk and make informed decisions.

  • Collaboration: Work with IT, security operations, and development teams to embed security requirements and improve security processes.

  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold client’s respectful and courteous work environment

Pay Range:  $85-86
