Our client, a leading law firm, is hiring an IT Support Technician on a contract basis.

Summary:
The client is looking for a hands-on IT Support Technician to support a short-term hardware deployment project in our New York office. This role is strictly temporary and is expected to last approximately 6–8 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Unbox and set up IT equipment, including monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
  • Tag and inventory all hardware assets
  • Set up workstations at user locations in a neat and organized manner
  • Assist with imaging and configuring laptops according to provided procedures
  • Support basic hardware configuration and troubleshooting during setup
  • Follow detailed instructions from the internal IT team
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and efficient work environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or hardware deployment
  • Familiarity with imaging and basic laptop configuration
  • Ability to follow direction and work well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Must be comfortable with physically active tasks in an office setting

Pay Rate: $30- $36/hour W2
