Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is hiring a Lab Operations Associate, on a contract basis.

Work Location:  
New Brunswick, NJ – 100% on site

Summary:
Serve in a CPD department support role within Laboratory Operations working to support installation, setup, and troubleshooting of new lab equipment.

Education/Experience:

  • Required B.S. in the physical, biological sciences or engineering with 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in compound management preferred, with a demonstrated record of competency working in a chemistry or biology laboratory.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to use an analytical balance and/or operate a liquid handling instruments for the fulfillment of multiple order types within Compound Management desired.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Locate and support roles below at company site
  • Execute day to day procedures necessary to facilitate compound request fulfillment and other inventory management functions
  • Catalog compounds with new labels
  • Implement quality control of instrumentation and utilization of inventory management software
  • Complete work orders related to sample management
  • Install and deploy small equipment throughout the labs

Pay: $25-$27/hr
