Our Business and Legal Affairs division is seeking a Legal Assistant to support two/three Attorneys! This is a hybrid position with the flexibility of working partly in the office and from home!
Responsibilities:
- Drafts correspondence, deal summaries, contract amendments, and legal memos
- Revises and redlines legal agreements and other documents
- Maintains and updates various logs, including tracking status of contracts
- Assists internal Production/Finance partners with inquiries of pending and fully executed contracts
- Maintains and organizes efficient filing system, and creates production binders
- Processes the execution and dissemination of agreements to appropriate parties
- Prepares UPS/FedEx shipping labels, and mails packages
- Answers phones, maintains phone and email log, and coordinates conference calls with multiple parties
- Books conference rooms, maintains calendars, updates contacts, and schedules meetings
- Books travel, and processes travel and expense reports through a solution software system
- Keeps track of and orders supplies for the department
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Prior legal assistant experience
- Comfortable with admin tasks: calendar, reserving rooms, filing, etc.
- Strong proof-reading skills
- Basic legal acumen: letter drafting from a template, etc.
Pay Range: $20/hour W2
