Summary:
The client is seeking an Operations Technical Support Analyst to join our team in Newark, New Jersey.
Position focuses on ensuring the daily settlement of high valued treasury transactions and reconciliation of Gloss vs BNY. The client is made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a client office and given the flexibility to work remotely.
The keys skills are Fed Settlement operational experience, Impact and BNY BDC.
Responsibilities:
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Impact and BNY BDC to ensure timely settlement of client’s transactions
- Monitor firm’s liquidity to mitigate overdraft charges IN BNY
- Track failed transactions (TMPG) and follow-up with counterparties for fund settlements
- Monitor clients’ FICC activities and action incomparable transactions including Fund settlement requirements
- Coordinate with client’s trading desk on collateral movement across different BNY accounts
- Identify potential risk associated with certain high valued trades and act to mitigate
- Escalate client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management, when necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team, and client’s trading desk.
- May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Fed Settlement operational experience
- In-depth knowledge of Impact and BNY BDC
- Knowledge of BNY vs Impact reconciliation
- TMPG processes
- Knowledge of FICC processes including CFM
Required Skills/Competencies:
- Functional/technical skills; knowledge of Impact, BNY BDC & FICC
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.
- Solid knowledge of Fed Settlement operations products and processes
- Ability to recognize and escalate high-risk items to minimize loss or breaks
Pay Range:$100k-$120K/annually
