Our client, a leading software company is hiring a Product Manager. 

Work Location: Tampa, FL

Summary: 

The Platform is the technology foundation of the ERP that facilitates business process automation, including integration with third-party apps through .NET and Web APIs, as well as the ability for clients to customize and tailor application fields, languages, workflows, layouts and more using the platform IDEs.

We are looking for a hands-on, technical Product Manager who will be responsible for the tactical leadership, stewardship, and market adoption of the Platform & Integration (P&I) product portfolio, including the planning, delivery, and support of product features and capabilities.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized, engaging leader who works well with a team, has a passion for technical products, and can participate as a key contributor in sales, consulting, and technical support to provide subject matter expertise, evangelize product features, and drive adoption.

Essential Functions:

  • Ownership and definition of functional and technical requirements, including user story and backlog definition, grooming, and prioritization
  • Collaborate, communicate, and facilitate knowledge sharing with prospects, clients, and internal teams to evangelize the platform and drive adoption
  • Participate in sales and marketing presentations, consulting engagements, and technical support
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain product documentation, including user and programmer guides, release notes, and data sheets
  • Create and showcase conceptual prototypes and sample-ware
  • Participate in technical design and code reviews

Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience in technical product management delivering enterprise apps, SDKs and APIs on the Microsoft stack
  • Expertise in software architecture, including microservices, SOA, OOD/P
  • Hands-on expertise with C#, Web API, and SQL
  • Experience with agile methodologies and practices
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task, with the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver professional and compelling collateral
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot software issues and provide viable solutions
  • Ability to simplify and articulate technical complexity for business stakeholders

Education or Prior Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 6 years of work-related experience
  • 1 or more years of experience as a software product or program manager
  • 3 or more years of prior experience as a software developer
