Summary:
Seeking a Technical Project Manager with significant experience leading technology implementations in the Research community. More specifically, this hands-on role will coordinate with the Program and Technical Leads and work closely with multiple technical workstreams developing Large Language Model (LLM) enabled data discovery and analysis solutions to ensure that detailed technical, as well as overall program objectives are met.
Education/Experience:
- 5 years’ experience leading technical projects deliveries from inception to full implementation (experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred).
- Bachelors degree in a Biologic, Physical and/or Computer Science discipline.
- High degree of familiarity with current software engineering methodologies, source code control, project management, and issue tracking best practices.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical projects including managing a full project team of business analysts, developers, test managers and SMEs/stakeholders.
- Experience with MS Project, JIRA and Confluence necessary
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience delivering LLM projects or agent frameworks is highly desirable.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Preference for hands-on experience with developing and deploying cloud-based solutions in AWS and/or Azure.
- Preference for experience with LLM development and agent frameworks, and models.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans including milestones, activities and dependencies for a portfolio of initiatives.
- Deep expertise in adhering to consistent software development life cycle processes, including testing strategies, frameworks, and documentation.
- Day to day management of timeline risks and issues.
- Has worked from inception to launch (end to end) on full technical project (software).
- Managing multiple projects in parallel across matrixed team environment, including developers, stakeholders, etc.
- Ensure final deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
- Manage day-to-day health and momentum of the projects including resource planning, outlining duties of team members, identifying and documenting risks/issues.
- Identify emerging risks and issues and develop remediation plans.
- Monitor day to day workstream progress to ensure timelines are met and all steps to deployment are accounted for.
- Ensure project plans are aligned with development teams sprint planning.
- Monitor and provide guidance on adhering to consistent software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, including testing strategies, frameworks, and documentation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and stand ups.
- Coordinate with external vendors, where required, to assist in the evaluation and/or integration of external technology solutions.
- Effectively work between the technical teams and the stakeholders to ensure solutions and progress meet user expectations.
- Work closely with Program and Technical leads to resolve technical challenges and communicate any blockers or delays.
Pay Range: $95-$102/hr
