Our client, a leading utilities company, is hiring a Senior GIS Support Analyst, on a contract basis.

Education/Experience:

  • 5 years of experiences of administration, support, and development ArcGIS applications
  • 5 years of experiences in administrating and supporting ArcFM applications
  • Development and coding experiences using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, .Net (C#).
  • Experiences in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
  • System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
  • Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
  • Ability to Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc
  • Ability to understand requirements and support team and share best practices/lessons learnt.
  • Provide status of the tickets to the client SME.
  • Trouble shooting and problem resolution to issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Utility Experience (Plus): Leverage utility industry experience to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry-specific initiatives.
  • Windows servers knowledge and experiences
  • FME Experience: Work closely with FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide development and technical support (1st, 2nd or Tier 3 Level) to the Enterprise GIS system and applications.
  • Take up development for minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, ASP .net (C#).
  • Support Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.
  • Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
  • System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
  • Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
  • Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc
Pay Range: $75-$90/hr
