Summary:
The client is on the lookout for a Senior Management Accountant to play a key role in ensuring our finances are as healthy as our delicious drinks by getting involved in general accounting tasks, month-end close duties, account reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the month end timelines ensuring group reporting is completed within the expected time frame
- Owning month-end balance sheet reconciliations for the US and CA
- Maintaining the fixed asset registers, Balance Sheet schedules, reconciliations, etc.
- Keeping control of the general ledger, chart of accounts, and master data.
- Assisting the Financial Controller with cashflow forecasting and management
- Owning payroll tasks for the US and CA entities
- Preparing and filing monthly/quarterly GST/HST tax returns
- Assisting with the preparation of year end tax returns for the US and CA entities
- Assisting during the company’s yearly external audits
- Managing intercompany transactions between the subsidiaries
- Participating in continuous improvement process for NetSuite, and other related systems
- Driving continuous improvements within the Finance team and across the business.

Required Experience:
You have proven experience in a similar Senior Management Accountant role. More importantly, you bring the perfect mix of skills, experience, and attitude:
- A CPA qualification is strongly preferred, ensuring you have the knowledge and expertise to excel.
- You’re savvy with Excel and a whiz at quickly adapting to new systems. Experience with NetSuite is a bonus, but not essential—we most of all we need you to be a quick learner.
- Your interpersonal skills are top-notch—you’re known for getting things done and working effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
