Job Description
The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for designing, delivering, and governing Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring implementations are scalable, secure, and high performing. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of hands on Salesforce experience.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions, including Energy and Utility Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrations with external systems.
- Define system architecture, data models, and integration patterns in line with best practices.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to Salesforce and enterprise architecture standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and executives to gather requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Integration & Technical Leadership
- Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems ( databases, APIs).
- Guide developers on Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, Flows, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Establish governance around development, release management, and environment strategy.
Solution Governance & Best Practices
- Define architecture standards, coding guidelines, and security policies for Salesforce implementations.
- Conduct design reviews and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend Salesforce products, apps, and third-party tools to meet business requirements.
Performance, Security, and Scalability
- Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Design role-based access, data security, and sharing rules in Salesforce.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Mentor developers, administrators, and junior architects on Salesforce best practices.
Project Oversight
- Support project planning, estimation, and risk assessment.
- Participate in solution delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, test, and deployment phases.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Salesforce platform expertise: Energy & Utility Cloud, Experience Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Flows, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Integration patterns: middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica), ETL tools, web services.
- Data modeling, architecture design, and governance principles.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and release management.
- Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Leadership and mentoring capability.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – ultimate
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect

- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II
Requirements
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 6 years in solution architecture or technical leadership.
- Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven track record of delivering integrated Salesforce solutions aligned with business strategy.
- Strategic thinking and enterprise-wide perspective.
- Ability to handle high-complexity projects with multiple integrations.
- Customer-focused mindset: ensuring Salesforce solutions drive business value.
- Adaptability in a rapidly changing cloud environment.
Pay Rate: $85/hr
