Summary:
BROADCAST: Collaborates with business units and external partners to exchange media content and transmit broadcasts, typically covering special events in the field. Develops and coordinates the technical and production infrastructure for external teams and journalists covering broadcast events. Participates in the negotiation of agreements on the exchange and sale of media content.
INTERNAL EVENTS:
- Collaborates with business units and external partners to support the client’s value proposition by planning and successfully executing Opening and Closing Bells and typically covering special events in the field for issuers and non-issuers.
- Develops and coordinates the technical and production infrastructure for external teams and keeps MarketSite tech team aware of event logistics and changes.
- Participate in the negotiation of agreements on the exchange and sale of the event space.
EXTERNAL EVENTS:
- Collaborates with business units and external partners to support CCG objectives through successful planning and execution of global programs and events.
- Implement events that generate meaningful connections with high level management at listed and prospective companies to maintain positive relationships, repair negative relationships and foster new relationships.
- Produce or sponsor events that provide a platform for the client to be thought leaders in our field by contributing to the regional and global economic conversation.
- Elevate our listed and prospective companies through event opportunities that promote their brand, provide thought leadership roles to their management and facilitate peer to peer networking.
- Promote the client through events to ensure listed and prospective companies understand our value proposition.
Position Responsibilities:
BROADCAST:
1. Applies knowledge base to all Broadcast operations
2. Solid understanding of Broadcast equipment functionality
3. Interact with on-site reports and all internal/external clients
4. Perform Broadcast scheduling needs as required
5. Participates in all duplication responsibilities for Broadcast operations
EVENTS:
1. Responsible for daily bookings of MarketSite opening/closing bell ceremonies. Take a proactive stance in identifying timely and world-wide events that translate in booking opening/closing bell ceremonies and events.
2. Educate the client on the various ways MarketSite can be utilized to increase exposure and revenue opportunities
3. Leverage creative ways in which clients may use their opening/closing bell or event; coordinate IPO Events and assist IPO team in follow through with Listing Day proposal promises.
4. Raise visibility for the client, its client base and external parties by promoting all facets of MarketSite during client meetings and walk-throughs. Produce revenue.
5. Increase usage of MarketSite for such non-traditional events such as photo shoots for annual reports, tower messages, promotional sidewalk activities, etc
Experience Required:
- Education required: Bachelor’s degree
- 4 to 5 years’ experience
Certifications: Strong event management and writing skills, marketing experience required. - Functional knowledge: Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities.
- Requires some general supervision and/or supervision to apply technical knowledge to our industry/markets.
- Business expertise: Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

Pay Rate: $30- $40/hour W2
